ScribbleDragon's Commission TOS

By commissioning me you automatically accept and understand these terms of service. Breaking my TOS will result in an instant blacklist and block. Do not hesitate to ask questions about anything :)

RULES:
• Personal use only. Artwork may be used as profile pictures/banners but may NOT be used for commercial use or to make profit. Printing for personal use is of course allowed.
• When reposting and sharing my art, credit and/or tag me.
• I will post completed commissions on social media and will use them in portfolio work, unless specifically asked otherwise. I retain the full rights to the image produced.
• Do not use my art to train AI or for use as NFTs.
• Do not remove my watermark in any way.
• Do not edit my art.
• Do not claim my art as your own.
• I have the right to decline a comission. Please respect this.
• Do not rush/pester me; you will receive regular updates. I work full time and have pets/household chores and other hobbies to attend to.
• Do not attempt to commission NSFW/risque art if you are not over the age of 18. I am willing to draw for minors, but I will not provide anyone under 18 with pornographic material.
• I am willing to do rush orders, but this will incur additional fees. This is a case by case basis, please be upfront if you need your art by a specific date.
• Any aggressive, rude or inappropriate behaviour will result in the comission being cancelled, and a partial refund. You will receive the comission up to the point of the refund, and blacklisted.PAYMENT:
• Payment via PayPal is greatly preferred, but I am flexible and can do direct bank transfers or something else :)
• 50% payment upfront. Remaining 50% payment to be provided after sketch has been approved. I will only proceed with the comission after the remaining 50% has been provided.
• No refunds unless I am unable to complete the commission. Partial refund may be provided if I am unable to provide what you want after multiple revisions.
• Refunds will only be issued on my terms.PROCESS:
• Please provide me with references. Character references, clothes, poses, specific lighting, etc. Even a doodle will do.
• If commissioning a ref sheet, please be as descriptive as possible and provide reference for patterns/designs where able.
• I will send you the sketch to approve or make revisions. If approved, I will continue to finish the comission and refunds will NOT be issued past this point.
• If you are unhappy with an aspect of the sketch, please tell me! I am more than happy to change things around to a certain extent.
• Once I am finished, I will send the final piece for review. Three (3) minor revisions are allowed, but any more may incur additional fees.
• When fully completed, I will email you the full res files of the work as watermarked jpegs. No physical product will be delivered.
• Art can take 2 - 4 weeks to be completed, though this depends on complexity. This also depends on my mental health and personal life. I will be upfront with you, and if for any reason I can't complete the comission I will issue a refund on my terms.Please note I do have ADD - while I try to keep track of everything, sometimes projects do slip my mind. Please respect that I have the right to refuse a commission for any reason, even if it is on the 'will draw' list. I will not draw anything I am uncomfortable with.

This shows the difference between cleaned lines and sketched ones. This is purely up to your preference, but cleaned lineart costs a bit more. I use a sharp, square brush, which results in very nice clean 'comic' lines, perfect for detailed illustrations and mecha.

And this shows the difference between fully rendered and a cell shaded piece. Commissions by default will come with cell shading (right). I do not offer sketch only, lineart or flat colour commissions. Fully rendered pieces cost extra as they take more time to complete.

Simple refs are usually produced on smaller canvases, though of course if you need a bigger canvas for whatever reason I can. Detailed references are always produced on larger canvas sizes.
